As a result, Voltalis’ solution will now be piloted by five leading UK financial institutions – Lloyds Banking Group, NatWest Group, Coventry Building Society, Skipton Building Society and Leeds Building Society – as they seek to decarbonise their estates and advance their net-zero strategies.

Winning this award is a strong endorsement of Voltalis’ model – simple, invisible flexibility that delivers lower bills and lower carbon at the same time. We’re delighted to be working with some of the UK’s biggest financial institutions to show how demand response can cut costs and emissions in practice.

This isn’t just about innovation, it’s about proving that flexibility is ready to move into the mainstream of Britain’s clean energy system.”
This recognition comes just months after Voltalis announced plans to invest up to £1 billion in the UK by 2030 to deliver 5 GW of demand response capacity across 1–2 million homes and businesses, equivalent to the output of a new nuclear power station, but delivered faster, cleaner and at lower cost.
Voltalis is already the largest residential demand response operator in Europe, with more than 2 GW of flexibility in operation and 1.5 million devices connected. This latest recognition underlines its role as a key player in helping the UK meet its net-zero targets while cutting energy bills for households and businesses alike.
